Parish Councillors

My family and I have lived in the local area for the past twenty years. I absolutely love Crowhurst, its countryside and all the wildlife.

I work as a leader in education, spanning, Primary, Secondary and Special Educational Needs provision.

I am thoroughly looking forward to serving the local community of Crowhurst on the Parish Council.

My family and I have just moved to Crowhurst from Reigate after deciding we wanted to embrace countryside life and fell in love with a wonderful barn conversion opportunity.

I am from the Energy sector originally, having worked in Engineering, Geophysics and Geomechanics as well HRIT and Personnel. My career has taken my family around the world, but Surrey has always been ‘home’ and we settled back here when our children needed secondary education and stable friendships. I have always had a passion for technology and house design and after leaving the Energy sector my husband I decided to follow our passions and today we enjoy building future proof, low energy homes that help tackle the climate crisis and positively enhance occupants’ wellbeing.

I enjoy meeting new people, trying new experiences and making positive change. Together with the other Parish Councillors, I look forward to serving the Crowhurst community.

Vacancy

I and my family have been residents of Crowhurst for almost 19 years having moved into the parish in late 2000. I have 2 grown up children who both attended local schools and are now both established in their own careers. Previously I was Chairman of the PTA at Stephens School in South Godstone for 6 years and ran one of the junior football teams at Lingfield FC for 5 years.

Having worked in IT all over the country for over 35 years, I am now based more locally so have the time to focus on other areas. We really enjoy living in Crowhurst and I am keen to maintain it’s unique feel but recognise that some change is both inevitable and necessary in order for it to continue to flourish.

I am greatly looking forward to my time on the Parish Council.
